Peterborough County OPP Detachment Board

The Township of Otonabee-South Monaghan is part of the Peterborough County OPP Detachment Board (PCODB) which was formalized on April 1, 2024. The PCODB is established to fulfill the requirements of Section 67 of the Community Safety and Policing Act (CSPA) and any regulations thereunder. The Board is comprised of 15 members.

Take notice that the Peterborough County OPP Detachment Board will hold two Special Board Meetings. 

Special Board Meeting - Monday November 17, 2025 at 3:00pm
Location: Hybrid - Committee Room, Peterborough County Courthouse, 470 Water Street, Peterborough, ON and Zoom
Purpose: To consider ratification of the recommendations of the Community Appointee Selection Committee, to receive a draft of the Peterborough County OPP Local Action Plan 2026-2029, and for appointed First Nations members to make the Affirmation of Office.

Special Board Meeting - Monday January 5, 2026 at 1:00pm
Location: Virtual
Purpose: To consider approval of the Peterborough County OPP Local Action Plan 2026 - 2029
