Assessment appeals should be made directly with MPAC through their Request for Reconsideration application form.
If you are successful in reducing the property's assessment, adjustments to the tax account cannot be processed until after the final billing has been completed.
Whether you own or rent your home, your property is linked to a school board, even if you do not have children attending school. You may choose which school board to support; if no selection is made, your support will default to the English Public school board.
Your designation also determines how you are listed on the Preliminary List of Electors and ensures you are placed on the correct voters’ list for municipal and school board elections.
