OSM Township has many forms and applications now available online or for downloading. As of, Feb. 5, 2026 marriage licence applications are now available online.

Building & Planning

There are many requirements for building, planning and zoning when looking at a new project in OSM Township. Be sure you know what is required and have the proper permits before you start a project.

Burn Permits

Burn permits are required for any fire that is not a campfire type fire in OSM Township. Online permit applications are now available.

Planning Notices

A public consultation period is required when property owners request any Planning Act application. All planning notice documents can be found in this section

Property Taxes

Property taxes in the OSM Township pay for the important municipal programs and services you value and expect.

Garbage

OSM Township provides curbside garbage collection for all residents.

Recycling

Peterborough County’s recycling program is now managed by Circular Materials (CMO) and delivered by Emterra Environmental.
