Employment Opportunities

The Township of Otonabee-South Monaghan is initiating the recruitment process for the role of Fire Chief/CEMC in anticipation of the planned retirement of our current Fire Chief. This position will perform the statutory duties of the Fire Chief as defined by the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, Establishing and Regulating By-law and will also provide leadership in the areas of emergency management and by-law enforcement, in accordance with applicable legislation, municipal by-laws, and Township policies.

The present salary range for this position is $117,244 - $127,436. The full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for continued learning and professional growth.
