Leaf and yard waste collection in OSM (areas served Keene and Lang) will take place during the following weeks in 2025:

Please be reminded that only those living in the areas depicted on the maps will have this type of collection.

If your property is not located on the collection map areas, and you have leaf & yard waste to dispose of, please be reminded that the OSM Waste Transfer Station on Drummond Line takes green waste free of charge.

Notice of Adoption of an Application for an Official Plan Amendment

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Otonabee-South Monaghan passed Official Plan Amendment No. 17 (under By-law No. 2025-71) and Zoning By-law Amendment 2025-72 on the 17th day of November 2025, pursuant to the provisions of Sections 17 and 34, respectively, of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended.

AND TAKE NOTICE that any person or public body may appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal in respect of the By-law by filing with the Clerk of the Corporation of the Township of Otonabee-South Monaghan not later than the 8th day of December, 2025 a notice of appeal accompanied by the fee required by the Tribunal ($1,100.00 payable by certified cheque or money order to the Minister of Finance) and a completed Appellant Form (A1) available from the Ontario Land Tribunal website (www.olt.gov.on.ca).
