Leaf and yard waste collection in OSM (areas served Keene and Lang) will take place during the following weeks in 2025:

Please be reminded that only those living in the areas depicted on the maps will have this type of collection.

If your property is not located on the collection map areas, and you have leaf & yard waste to dispose of, please be reminded that the OSM Waste Transfer Station on Drummond Line takes green waste free of charge.

Garbage & Recycling

OSM Township provides curbside garbage and recycling services for all residents.

Curbside recycling collection is managed by Circular Materials Ontario (CMO), which has contracted Emterra Environmental to carry out the recycling pick-up.

Garbage is collected by Waste Connections of Canada, on behalf of the Township.

Organic Waste/Composting

Composting is not mandatory, organic material may go in the clear garbage bag. If you would like to reduce organic material in the garbage, you can compost at home or by taking your organic material to the OSM Transfer Station. All information is available on the Peterborough County website.
