Toy Shop and Grocery Card Pick Up (at the same time, as applicable):  December 9th to 20th, 2024

Location: The Salvation Army Church, 219 Simcoe Street Peterborough

Pick up at the marked door on Simcoe St, entering the main lobby of the church closest to the intersection of Simcoe and Aylmer St.

REQUIRED:

  1. Identification for each family member;
  2. Proof of current address; and
  3. Verification of income (pay stub, OW/ODSP stub) for everyone in the family.

Provides winter coats and other warm items, is being run differently this year in the Peterborough area.  Coats and other winter items are being distributed by the following organizations:

Good Neighbours 164 Sherbrooke St.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

  • Please note that ID and registration is required
  • Adult and child coats available

Trent Valley Literacy Association Brookdale Plaza (825 Chemong Rd.)

Monday to Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Adult coats only

TRACKS Youth Program Environmental Science Centre
at Trent University
(1600 West Bank Drive) Ground Floor – Office B106

Tuesday and Thursday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Limited quantities of adult and child coats

The OSM Food Cupboard is open on the second Thursday of each month between 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

The OSM Food Cupboard serves residents of OSM Township and Hiawatha First Nation.

You need to register with the OSM Food Cupboard prior to each food cupboard date to be able to pick up on the next available day.

Monetary donations are welcome by:

  • e-transfer to: treasurerkuc@nexicom.net with ‘OSM Food Cupboard’  and your civic mailing address in the comment section, or
  • by cheque made payable to 'Keene United Church'.
    Please add 'OSM Food Cupboard' to the memo line of the cheque.

Charitable receipts will be issued for donations over $20.00.
