Leaf & Yard Collection 2025

Leaf and yard waste collection in OSM (areas served Keene and Lang) will take place during the following weeks in 2025:

October 13–17

October 27–31

November 10–14

November 24–28


Please be reminded that only those living in the areas depicted on the maps will have this type of collection.

If your property is not located on the collection map areas, and you have leaf & yard waste to dispose of, please be reminded that the OSM Waste Transfer Station on Drummond Line takes green waste free of charge.

Parks, Playgrounds & Trails

OSM Township Playgrounds

OSM Township maintains the following playgrounds:

Green grass, with trees, a park bench and swing set in the back

There are a number of park and conservation areas in OSM Township where you can connect with nature by taking a hike, enjoy a picnic and escape to the great outdoors.

Trails

The Trans-Canada Trail is a trail that passes through the Township along the old railway bed. 
The portion of this trail through the township is maintained by the Lang-Hastings Trail.

The trail has many permitted uses including walking, cycling, horseback riding, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling.
