Otonabee Memorial Community Centre - Mural Competition

Call for Artists – OSM Arena Mural Project

The Otonabee-South Monaghan Township is inviting artists of all levels to submit designs for a 24’ x 9’ mural at the Otonabee Memorial Community Centre entrance.

Deadline: November 15, 2025

The winning design will be community-painted in spring 2026. Submissions should reflect a style suitable for this collaborative format.

Leaf & Yard Collection 2025

Leaf and yard waste collection in OSM (areas served Keene and Lang) will take place during the following weeks in 2025:

October 13–17

October 27–31

November 10–14

November 24–28


Please be reminded that only those living in the areas depicted on the maps will have this type of collection.

Re: 2026 Budget Deliberations

 

TAKE NOTICE THAT Council of the Corporation of the Township of Otonabee-South Monaghan has scheduled a series of Special Meetings to take place electronically via Microsoft Teams on the following dates:

  • Monday, November 17, 2025 – 8:00 am to 9:30 am
  • Monday, November 24, 2025 – 8:00 am to 9:30 am
  • Monday, December 1, 2025 – 8:00 am to 9:30 am (if required)

 

The purpose of the Special Meetings are to allow for Council deliberations of the 2026 Capital and Operating Budgets.

Council will consider adopting the 2026 Operating Budget at its Regular Council Meeting to be held on the 8th  day of December, 2025, in the Council Chambers, Municipal Office  commencing at 6:00 p.m.

This Notice is being provided in accordance with Section 8 Township’s Procedural By-law 2019-25.
