To run for the office of Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Councillor or School Board Trustee you must file a Nomination Paper.
Nomination papers can be filed from May 2 to August 18, 2022 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and on August 19, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Nominations must be filed in person with the Clerk. Third Party Advertisers |
The nomination period begins on May 1, 2022. As May 1 is a Sunday, you may not be able to register to be a third party advertiser until May 2, 2022 when the clerk’s office is open. The deadline to register to be a third party advertiser is Friday, October 21, 2022. |

The Election Sign By-Law 2022-12 shall be adhered to. |
