There are two wildlife areas in the Township of Otonabee-South Monaghan. The Otonabee Region Conservation Authority (commonly called ORCA) owns and manages these areas. Please contact ORCA if you would like more information. Please visit the Conservation Areas page for information on Haroldtown, Hope Mill, Squirrel Creek and other conservation areas in the Township.
The Birdsall wildlife area is not accessible for hiking, walking, etc. The area is located between Blezard Line and Birdsall Line and is primarily swampland.
The Darling wildlife area is not accessible for hiking, walking, etc. The area is located at the corner of Fifth Line and Frenchman's Creek Road.
