Street lights
There are street lights located in Keene, Bailieboro, Crystal Springs, Elgeti Drive and Burnham Meadows. Residents and businesses in these areas are charged for street lights with their property taxes.
Please contact the Township office if you have any concerns or questions about street lights.

Road signs
If a road sign is missing or damaged for a municipal road, please contact the Township office. You can also report a missing road sign through our website.
If a road sign is missing or damaged for a County road, please contact the County of Peterborough Public Works department at 705-775-2737.
If a road sign is missing on Highway 7 or Highway 28, please contact the Ministry of Transportation.
LED Signs
The Township has two community LED signs. The first sign was installed in November 2014 and is located at the corner of Heritage Line and County Road 2 in Keene. The second sign was installed in July 2015 and is located at the Bailieboro Public Library at 199 County Road 28, Bailieboro.
The LED Sign by-law provide details about the appropriate uses for the sign.
If you would like to have your event added to one or both of the community signs, please email your information to Tracy. This should include the name of the event, date, time, and location. Please send information as early as possible, ideally more than two weeks, before your event.
