There are many payment options for paying your taxes.
If your taxes are in arrears, please contact the Treasurer to make payment arrangements.
Supplementary tax bills are issued when the value of a property changes beyond the normal phase-in. This could be a result of a newly built home, or other changes to your property. The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) often takes some time to pick up new houses for taxation. You will however be billed back to the occupancy date.
Supplementary and omitted tax due dates for 2019 will be set as the bills are generated. For your due dates, please see your bill. Due dates are always at least 21 days after the mailing date of the bills.
If you have questions about a supplementary tax bill that you have received, please contact the Treasurer.
New home owners whose house is not yet assessed may wish to start making pre-payments to avoid a large supplementary bill. Please contact the Township office for more information.
Penalties and interest at the rate of 1.25% per month will be applied to unpaid taxes on the first date of each month and the first day of every month thereafter. You can sign up for preauthorized payments to ensure that you will not miss tax due dates.
Tax Billing and Collection policy
The Township has a Tax Billing and Collection policy that outlines tax collection practices. Please see the Arrears page for information about collection measures.
The Township may start tax sale proceedings if your taxes are in arrears. Please contact the Treasurer to make payment arrangements before your property is eligible for tax sale.
