Public Works
The Public Works Department maintains the 191 kilometers (km) of gravel and 75 km of hard topped roadways within the Township, and provides year-round maintenance on these roads.
The Public Works Department is also responsible for:
- snow plowing, sanding, salting, grading and dust control of Township roads,
- maintaining bridges, culverts and sidewalks,
- fleet maintenance,
- maintaining street lights,
- transfer station and
- water systems (3)
Should you encounter a problem with any of the above mentioned areas, please don't hesitate to contact the Superintendent of Public Works.
Street Light Outages:
In order to report a street light out, please email Bud Markham and provide the street that the pole is located on, as well as the closest address.
If possible, please obtain the pole identification number from the pole.
